The following is a general invitation from the Kell High School Baseball:
Many of our current players played baseball at Sandy Plains as they were growing up and many of our future players are playing with you now. The Kell Baseball Team and the Kell Dugout Club would like to give the Sandy Plains players a chance to enjoy a game at our field.
Travel Team News: February Frost Tournament kicks off Honoring Georgia State Trooper Chad Lecroy
The 11U Sandy Plains Wildcats will officially dedicate their entire season to the memory of the late State Trooper Chad LeCroy, brother to teammate Jake and son of Bill LeCroy, on February 18th at the February Frost “Season Opener” at Harrison Park. For several seasons, the Sandy Plains Wildcats have coached and played the game of baseball in the local community through three simple rules: “Have fun. Play hard. Respect your teammates.” But this year is different. In Chad’s memory, the Wildcats have added a 4th rule to honor an outstanding servant, brother, father and husband: “Win with class.”
The Sandy Plains Baseball Association is looking for your support in helping share the opportunity to enjoy baseball with those children who are less fortunate. We are collecting used baseball equipment and will have it refurbished and provided to underprivileged youth in Atlanta and the Dominican Republic. A collection bin is located at Harrison Park across from the lower concession stand.
